Support and company

Somebody actually reads the email

Tock is a smart alarm and sleep tracker for iPhone, made by Wildframe. If something is wrong, or you just want to ask, write to us. We are a small team and we answer our own support.

What you bought

An alarm that waits for a lighter moment

Everything below is what Tock does today, not what it is going to do.

It rings, properly

Tock is built on Apple's AlarmKit, so the alarm comes up as the native full-screen alert. It rings on silent, through a Focus, with the app closed. Then it asks you to solve something small before it stops.

It listens to the night

Leave the phone on the nightstand and it maps your night from sound and movement. Snores, coughs and sleep talking are classified on the device and saved as clips you can play back in the morning.

It speaks 33 languages

The whole app, not just the buttons. Sleep stages from a phone alone are estimates rather than measurements, and Tock says so on every screen that shows one, in every one of those languages.

Getting help

Two ways to reach us, and one shortcut

Most questions have already been answered further down this page. If yours has not, the email goes to a person.

Email

[email protected] for anything at all. For a privacy or data request, [email protected] reaches the same people and keeps the paper trail in one place.

From inside the app

Profile, then Support, then Send feedback. You can attach up to four screenshots, and it stamps your app version, iOS version and device automatically, which is usually the first thing we would have had to ask you for.

Or read your way out of it

The guides cover the things people write in about most: why mid-cycle waking feels the way it does, what a sleep cycle actually is, and how to make a schedule stick.

Common questions

The seven things people write in about

How do I get help with Tock?

Email [email protected] and a person reads it. Tell us what your iPhone did and what you expected it to do, and if it is an alarm problem, roughly what time it was. You can also send a report from inside the app under Profile, Support, Send feedback, which attaches your app version and device so nobody has to go looking for it.

What does Tock cost?

Tock Pro is $39.99 a year or $4.99 a month, and both start with a 3 day free trial. The subscription is managed by Apple, so it is billed through your Apple ID and can be cancelled there at any time.

Which devices does Tock run on?

Tock is an iPhone app and needs iOS 26 or later. There is no Apple Watch app and no Android version. If you wear a Watch, an Oura ring, a WHOOP or a Garmin, Tock reads the sleep those devices write into Apple Health and uses it instead of its own estimate.

How do I cancel my subscription?

On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Tock, then Cancel Subscription. Apple handles the billing, so cancelling has to happen there rather than inside Tock. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Does Tock work without an internet connection?

Alarms do. They are scheduled on the phone itself through iOS, so they ring with the app closed, on silent, through a Focus, and with no signal at all. The sleep coach is the one part that needs a network, because it is a conversation with a model rather than something running on the device.

How do I delete my account and everything in it?

Open Profile, then Data and privacy, then delete your account. That removes your profile, your alarms and your sessions from our database, wipes the night audio held on your phone, and clears what the coach remembered. If you would rather we did it, email [email protected].

Is Tock a medical device?

No. Tock estimates your sleep stages from a microphone and an accelerometer on a nightstand, which is a good guide and is not a measurement. Nothing it shows you is a diagnosis. If your sleep is genuinely not working, that is a conversation for a doctor.

Wildframe

We would rather ship fewer things and get them right

Wildframe is an independent studio. We build a small number of apps we would want on our own phones.

No ads, ever

We do not show them, and we do not build the tracking that powers them.

We never sell your data

Not to anyone, in any form. Your nights are yours and they stay that way.

Only what is needed

We collect the minimum the app requires to work, and we keep it secure.

Those are not lines on a page. They are the same commitments written into thePrivacy Policy, next to theTerms of Use. If we ever change our approach, we will say so plainly.
